2018 is almost over!!  It’s time for a bōnenkai !!

bōnenkai (忘年会, literally "forget the year gathering") is a Japanese party that takes place at the end of the year.  The purpose of the party is to forget the woes and troubles of the past year and hopefully look to the New Year.

Please join Japan America Society of Iowa bōnenkai, this year at Baratta's Restaurant on Wednesday, December 12th.  We will provide a selection of food and of course, good company. 

We’re going to have “Secret Buddha”, the gift exchange game at this dinner party, so please plan to bring a small gift that a price around $10.
